Volcano erupts in south Iceland

South of the country of Iceland a volcano erupted, and caused an evacuation of at least 500 to 600 hundred people. Fortunately nobody got hurt. After the horrible event, ash started to fall, ice started to melt, but we have develop the way how to avoid it and the ice melting wasn't so much. But with this eruption and with others more we could have a dramatically global damage.

opinion:
Ana- We are the cause of this damage, we are the reason why this volcano erupted. We need to change and fast. I think it was a miracle that the lava didn't melt the ice.
George-I think this problem is very bad for all the icelanders because some will have no hame after this. It will be hard to get back.

US schools grapple with gay rights at the school prom

summary:these article is about a high school in Mississippi were they canceled prom because there were certain people who were gays and lesbians.School officials defended the decision, saying that the whole issue had become a "distraction to the learning process"in thise article there have been many cases were bisexual people try to take thir dates to the prom were it is not right when it is not aloud. there is no law that says that gay people shouldn't be aloud in the schools but many people say that principals don't know how to follow the gay and lesbians rights.

we think that these is not fair for the teenagers that they canceled the prom because of the other people.

Cami: I think that these article isn't fair because there are some teenagers that are gay and these school isn't respecting others decisions because they canceled prom just because of that.

Gaby:I think that in schools the principals should respect our opinions and decisions in how we want to be in the rest of our lifes. but i also think that gay and lesbians shouldn't happen but the world is how god made it and we are made and are like god made us with our own decisions on how we want to see life. it shouldn't be fair to cancel the prom because of people who make bad choices for their lifes.

Ana:I think every girl or boy can go with they want to, because we are the same from the outside but nobody, nobody are the same by the inside. This principal should be fire .

George:i think that they should let people come with their dates that they whant because people are what they are.

how it affect us:
these affect us because now we can see that schools don't accept our decisions in how we want to be when we grow up and there we see that they don't care how we think.

summary:
Chinese market is selling cats and dogs to eat. A lot of people consider it illegal and others don't even care. You can buy dog soup, dog steak and a lot more. Even doctors say cats and dogs are healthy for you to eat. The government say it is illegal but there are tons of violators, even they could go to prison and pay a small fiance. Not only in China happens this but also in Japan, Korea and Vietnam. Even do it is illegal people still do it and see it a different point of view. Lets say some people think it is cruel and others say it is healthy.
opinions!:
Ana: It is very sad for people killing dogs and there should be a big fine for people doing this. I love cats and dogs and think its not fair.

Gaby: I think that people should care more about the animals because they can go in extinction and also that people should consider that killing animals and eating them is illegal and they can get in lots of trouble.

George: I think China's government is not doing anything about it and there should be more polices out there.

Cami: I think that it is really bad because people in China don't get caught because they are still doing it and if the government say that it is illegal, they should make people in more trouble. This affects us because maybe someday cats and dogs will be extinct, I know there are a lot but maybe it could happen nobody knows.

Hawaii Evacuation

Summary:
Evacuating Hawaii stands because of the prediction of a tsunami. The cause of the tsunami could be of the 8.8 earthquake in Chile.The evacuation takes place in the mayor cities in Hawaii and every hour an alarm goes on saying that an amount of people should evacuate Hawaii.

opinion:
people should be aware and we think there is no solution unless being careful.
we think that these is a very god idea of evacuating because it is very dangerous. also because the sunami can get them as a surprise.
